Technical Design Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Design Lead to join our Space4 Team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and converting architects' and engineers' information into timber frame fabrication and assembly drawings.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring that our production facility and site assembly processes are aligned with the latest design requirements. You will work closely with our commercial and operations teams to achieve client satisfaction and ensure that our products meet all legislative requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating technical interface between Space4 and client technical departments and/or architects
  • Programming, monitoring, and re-prioritizing CAD design conversion works in accordance with customer demand
  • Resolving technical issues related to the Space4 product or its association with other elements
  • Ensuring that our product offering satisfies all legislative requirements
  • Coordinating technical solutions for Space4, liaising with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders as necessary

Requirements:

  • High level of education
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience of working accurately and consistently
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit and a good understanding of working technical drawings
  • Computer literacy and high level of Excel and Word experience
  • Ability to understand, follow, and carry out oral and written instructions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
