Technical Design Lead

Are you looking to take on a challenging role that combines technical expertise with leadership skills?

You will be joining ARV Solutions Contracts, a major timber frame manufacturer, at an exciting time of expansion. We have invested in new manufacturing equipment and are seeking a Technical Design Lead to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver client-focused solutions.
  2. Coordinate and adjust CAD design work to meet project requirements.
  3. Resolve technical issues related to timber frame construction, ensuring compliance with building regulations.
  4. Manage project drawings and provide timely responses to stakeholders.
  5. Review designs to ensure quality and compliance, identifying areas for improvement.
  6. Communicate cost implications of design changes to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  1. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and technical drawing software (HSBCad is a plus).
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including phone etiquette.
  3. Experience with timber frame, joist, roof cassette, or truss design is highly desirable.
