About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Design Lead to join our team at ARV Solutions. As a Technical Design Lead, you will be responsible for collaborating with teams to meet client needs, coordinating and adjusting CAD design work, resolving technical issues related to timber frame construction, ensuring compliance with building regulations, managing project drawings, and reviewing designs to ensure quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality designs that meet client requirements.
  • Coordinate and adjust CAD design work to ensure accuracy and compliance with building regulations.
  • Resolve technical issues related to timber frame construction, including resolving conflicts and ensuring design integrity.
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations and industry standards.
  • Manage project drawings and ensure timely responses to client inquiries.
  • Review designs to ensure quality and compliance, and report any issues or concerns to the design team.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and working with technical drawings.
  • Experience with timber frame, joist, roof cassette, or truss design is highly desirable.
