Logistics Planner Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our Logistics team as a part-time Logistics Planner. The ideal candidate will work closely with our team to ensure the efficient flow of goods and services meets the requirements of our customers.

This is a part-time position, requiring 5 days of work per week, with flexible hours between 17:30 and 22:00.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ability to analyze and interpret data to inform logistics decisions
  2. Work independently and make informed decisions based on provided information
  3. Proficiency in commonly used software applications, including MS Office and business management tools
  4. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  5. Execute tasks accurately and efficiently, meeting deadlines and quality standards
  6. Route planning experience is desirable, but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided
  7. Knowledge of UK roads and logistics operations is highly valued
Key Performance Indicators
  1. Plan and coordinate all deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient execution
  2. Prepare and submit plans, estimates, and logistics reports to support business requirements
  3. Conduct site surveys to assess support needs and sustainability of operations
  4. Develop cost estimates, resource requirements, and logistics plans to support business operations
  5. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols
