Compensation – £13.88 to £15.43 per hour.

Our Home Care Service delivers vital support to the most at-risk individuals in our communities, within their residences. Successful candidates will offer a variety of services, including personal assistance, meal preparation, and medication management. Comprehensive training will be provided in all aspects of the role.

Work hours will follow a shift pattern, including Early shifts (7:30 AM – 1:30 PM) and Late shifts (4 PM to 10 PM) throughout a 7-day week, including weekends. Positions are available across different shift patterns, teams, and geographical areas, with opportunities for up to 30 hours per week.

We provide competitive pay rates, generous annual leave, and additional terms and conditions.

It is advantageous to possess an SVQ level 2/ SCQF level 6 qualification. East Dunbartonshire Council is committed to supporting and funding successful candidates in obtaining an SVQ2 qualification.

Our organizational structure offers a clear career progression pathway for those interested in advancing within Adult Social Care.

A full Driving Licence is preferred, as it is essential for certain team positions. Care at Home Fleet Cars are available for use during shifts.

All successful candidates will be required to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 6 months of commencing employment. As part of the Local Authority pay agreement, there will be no fees for SSSC application or renewal.
