Care Assistant

Bespoke Support is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Professional to join our team in Dumfries. As a Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing support to individuals in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assistance with daily household tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
- Prepare meals and assist with meal planning to ensure a healthy and balanced diet.
- Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing and dressing, to promote a high standard of hygiene.
- Provide companionship and engage in conversation with clients to combat loneliness and isolation.
- Monitor and assist with medication reminders to ensure timely administration.
- Previous experience as a home assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of basic household cleaning techniques and practices.
- Familiarity with meal preparation and cooking.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage in conversation.
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards clients.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect client privacy.
- Excellent hourly rates - £12.20 per hour.
- Mileage allowance of 50p per mile when using your own car.
