About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Manager to join our team at RTL Group Ltd. As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing technical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting to and working with the Project Manager to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets to meet client expectations.
  • Leading and coordinating the activities of the site teams to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Communicating project status to the project team and stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Identifying and resolving project issues and risks to minimize delays and cost overruns.
  • Developing and implementing strategies for successful project delivery, including the use of technologies such as BIM and LEAN principles.
  • Ensuring all project deliverables are met on time and within budget, including managing changes to the project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Attending site surveys and producing detailed Site Audit Reports to aid project scope and costing.
  • Engaging with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of project materials and services.
  • Managing and expanding the subcontractor base to ensure a stable and reliable supply chain.
  • Demanding high levels of health and safety across all projects to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
Requirements
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with project stakeholders.
  • Ability to successfully work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software to manage project documentation and timelines.
  • Strong client-facing experience to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, or experience in mechanical construction – plumbing and/or HVAC.
  • Degree in Engineering or Construction Management and relevant years of experience.
  • Ability to implement and oversee technologies such as BIM and LEAN principles.
  • Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Trimble, and MS Office is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage project teams.
  • Project Management experience working in the areas of commercial HVAC and Plumbing.
  • Understanding of Plumbing, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems.
