Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Certification Planning: Develop and implement certification plans for assigned projects and products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance Oversight: Provide oversight and guidance on regulatory compliance matters, ensuring that all projects and products meet the required standards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and program management, to ensure seamless integration and effective communication.
  • Certification Audit and Compliance: Conduct certification audits and assessments to ensure compliance with certification requirements, identifying and mitigating risks as needed.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry developments, trends, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our certification processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Direct Design Experience: Proven experience in airborne software development and/or certification experience in a RTCA/DO-178B or C environment.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Working knowledge of regulatory compliance related to RTCA/DO-178C.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) or equivalent knowledge and experience.
