Operations Director

As the North Operations Director for Instore, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence and overseeing multiple site-based clients and relationships in a commercial manner. You will ensure compliance with company policies and manage budgets to drive profitability.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and motivate a team of Regional Managers to deliver key financial targets and operational compliance.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring brand compliance.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, reviewing contract performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Implement quality control standards to ensure Compass and brand standards are met, while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and drive profitability through effective resource allocation and financial planning.
- Manage stakeholders and project plans during the planning and refresh/build of units, ensuring client expectations are met.
- Identify areas for improvement and drive process enhancements to optimize efficiency and service delivery.
- A minimum of 5 years operational experience in senior leadership roles within Retail or hospitality.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and cost control.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience of managing complex and multiple client and stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Knowledge of health and safety and regulatory compliance.
- Experience of managing a mobilisation plan.
- Developed and led an implementation of change programme to deliver operational benefits.
