About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Coordinator to join our finance team at HB Leisure. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining supplier information, and ensuring the smooth operation of our purchase ledger.

Key Responsibilities
  • Invoice Processing: Capture and code invoices and credits to the correct nominal accounts and cost centers.
  • Supplier Management: Maintain and update supplier information, including contact details and payment terms.
  • Financial Analysis: Assist with month-end processing, reconcile supplier statements, and perform ad-hoc analysis of supplier information.
  • Expense Management: Process employee expenses and petty cash, as well as business credit card statements.
  • Communication: Resolve ledger queries with suppliers via phone or email, and communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely processing.
Requirements
  • Education: GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths, grade level C or above.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an accounting environment, preferably in a purchase ledger role.
  • Skills: Strong IT skills, particularly in Excel, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Desirable: AAT qualified or working towards, experience of working for a multinational company in a finance/accounting capacity, and knowledge of Sage.
