About the Role
We are seeking an Undergraduate Research Assistant to join our New Categories R&D Sustainability team in Southampton. As a key member of our team, you will support the Life Cycle Analysis of our New Category products, process data and conduct trend analysis on the environmental impact of our products, and update key performance metrics on circularity.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of sustainable materials and designs for our New Category products
- Conduct environmental impact assessments and provide recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with design teams to develop lower carbon initiatives
- Support the development of key performance metrics and reports on circularity and environmental impact
Requirements
- Currently studying towards an undergraduate degree in Chemistry, Biology, Materials Science, or Environmental Sciences
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and develop skills in sustainability and environmental impact analysis
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent data analysis and presentation skills
