About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced teacher to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a Cover Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with various schools in the Bristol and South Gloucestershire area, providing cover for teachers and supporting students in their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick up pre-planned lessons and deliver them to the school's expectations, ensuring a smooth and effective learning experience for students.
  • Follow the school's high expectations of behavior policies, maintaining a positive and respectful classroom environment.
  • Communicate clearly with other staff to ensure cover runs smoothly, fostering a collaborative and supportive team atmosphere.
  • Be adaptable with lessons, ensuring everyone has access to the learning, and making adjustments as needed to meet the needs of all students.
Requirements
  • Have a period of experience teaching in a UK school, with a strong understanding of the English National Curriculum.
  • Hold great knowledge of behavior management techniques, with the ability to maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment.
