Key Responsibilities- Prepare and present monthly management reports and financial accounts to senior management.
- Support the development and implementation of budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure accurate financial planning.
- Review and approve costing information for bids and tenders to ensure competitiveness.
- Provide expert financial advice and guidance to the manufacturing site leadership team to inform business decisions.
- Supervise and mentor an assistant accountant to ensure the smooth operation of the finance team.
- Produce accurate and timely financial reports to inform business performance and decision-making.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Degree in finance or a related business discipline.
- Fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with a strong understanding of financial regulations and best practices.
- Experience in a finance role within a manufacturing environment, preferably with a similar company size and structure.
- Familiarity with MRP systems, ideally SAP, and ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
