Facilities Manager

Oxford Instruments Plasma Technology is seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to lead our facilities team and ensure compliance with all aspects of our Severn Beach site.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with internal customers, facilities engineers, and specialist teams to deliver satisfactory service.
- Manage a wide range of administrative duties to support the onsite FM team and appointed supply chain.
- Ensure suppliers receive induction and are briefed on site services.
- Procure parts and services from preferred suppliers, updating contract files and managing critical spares.
- Liaise with FM team members to coordinate staff holidays and maintain the holiday plan.
- Update weekly attendance and timesheet submissions, and prepare monthly payroll submissions.
- Prepare and present a monthly report summarizing FM performance.
- Conduct site tours and inspections.
- Provide proactive advice on new technologies and trends to enhance Facilities Management services.
- Liaise with facility engineers to ensure service delivery adherence.
- Maintain confidentiality of company documentation and information.
- Contribute to team performance and adopt a flexible working relationship.
- Maintain compliance with Health and Safety requirements.
- Be familiar with and comply with company and client procedures.
- Undertake specific training and contribute to self-development.
- HND/Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
- Postgraduate qualification in Facilities Management advantageous.
- Good knowledge of total FM contracts and 5+ years of Facilities Management experience.
- Experience managing services in high-quality environments, including Clean Rooms and GMP locations.
- Health and Safety experience/exposure.
- Able to effectively communicate at all levels.
- Results-driven and proactive.
- Mature and effective approach to implement improvement.
- Confident to drive projects and people to meet objectives.
- Creative and able to think outside the box.
