Job Overview

UHBW Trust is pleased to offer a unique opportunity for a dedicated and motivated Radiographer to progress into a Band 6 Trainee Sonographer role.

Main Responsibilities
  • Undertake clinical training lists with experienced Sonographers and Radiologists to develop advanced ultrasound skills.
  • Complete a post-graduate certificate in General Medical Ultrasound at Masters level, funded by UHBW Trust.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and department training opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
Key Requirements
  • HCPC registered Radiographer with relevant post-qualification experience in imaging.
  • Ability to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in General Medical Ultrasound.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable Criteria
  • Leadership or management experience.
  • Knowledge of other departments' work practices with which radiology has a significant interface.
Working Arrangements

This secondment post is expected to begin in the near future and continue for approximately 18 months. Employment throughout, and after the training, will be dependent on successful completion of all clinical and academic components of the training.
