About the RoleThe successful candidate will have extensive experience in scrubbing general surgery, vascular, thoracic, HPB, UGI, colorectal, pediatric, urology, ENT, and max fax procedures. You will be responsible for coordinating and managing CEPOD theatres, ASU, and plastic lists, as well as supporting and guiding junior staff members.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage CEPOD theatres, ASU, and plastic lists
- Provide scrubbing services for general surgery, vascular, thoracic, HPB, UGI, colorectal, pediatric, urology, ENT, and max fax procedures
- Support and guide junior staff members
- Contribute to the development and implementation of safe and quality care practices
- Registered Nurse or Registered ODP
- Experience as a Theatre Practitioner in an acute theatre unit
- Awareness of professional regulations in the NHS
- Leadership experience
- Clinical scrub skills - generic and speciality-specific
- Good communication skills with ability to provide complex information in intense settings
