Theatre Scrub Practitioner

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses and/or Operating Department Practitioners to join our Cardiac Paediatric and Adult Congenital Theatre team. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to practice in a complex and demanding specialty, offering unique experience of congenital heart conditions in both paediatric and adult congenital patients.
Main Duties:
- Provide skilled specialist assistance in the delivery of direct and indirect patient care throughout the Operating Department.
- Participate as an integral member of the theatre scrub team, covering a full range of shifts, including earlies, lates, nights and weekends.
- Act as the patient advocate and maintain high standards of patient care, in line with NMC or HCPC code of conduct.
Requirements:
Experienced cardiac paediatric and adult congenital scrub practitioners. An enthusiastic and focused individual to be a part of our multi-cultural and diverse cardiac theatre team committed to delivering compassionate and professional care to our patients.
This is a full-time position of 37.5 hrs over four days per week with a commitment to night and weekend work. Relocation allowance is available for this post.
Staff who are already employed at UHS in any role are not eligible to claim relocation allowances.
