Behaviour Mentor Opportunity

Horizon Teachers is working with an Alternative Provision in Enfield to appoint a Behaviour Mentor to support students in lessons and manage their behaviour.

The school caters for Secondary aged students who have been permanently excluded or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream school.

This role will involve working closely with students, teachers, and other support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in lessons to improve their behaviour and engagement
  • Work with teachers to develop strategies to manage challenging behaviour
  • Provide individual support to students to help them overcome behavioural challenges
  • Collaborate with other support staff to ensure a consistent approach to behaviour management

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with behavioural challenges
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and techniques
