Creative Support is a rapidly expanding, not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing assistance to individuals with diverse care requirements. We are currently seeking to recruit a Support Care Assistant to join our enthusiastic and dedicated team.

Our service focuses on delivering support to individuals with learning disabilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate respect and possess the ability to offer exceptional assistance, which may involve administering medication and aiding with household tasks such as cooking and cleaning. You will be committed to empowering and motivating our service users to lead a fulfilling and valued life, while helping them to enhance their skills to the fullest.

Key Responsibilities of the Support Care Assistant:

  • Assisting with daily living activities, including budgeting, shopping, and supporting with medication and any necessary care
  • Collaborating with service users, families, caregivers, and relevant professionals to ensure a coordinated and consistent service that maximizes outcomes for service users
  • Being responsive to the needs of service users in accordance with Person Centred Plans and adapting flexibly to evolving requirements
  • Encouraging and supporting service users in voicing their needs, opinions, and concerns, enabling them to make informed choices and decisions

Previous experience in care is essential for Support Care Assistant roles, and successful candidates will be required to complete mandatory induction training prior to commencing their duties. While having a driving license is preferred, it is not a strict requirement, as it may assist in engaging clients with the community.

As a member of the Creative Support Bank Staff, you will have access to our user-friendly app, which allows you to select shifts across various locations and provides essential information about the service, including navigation assistance. You will receive weekly payments for your work.
