Duty Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our Centre Management Team at Freedom Leisure. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and running of our leisure centre to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and develop a team of operational staff to deliver excellent customer service and ensure the smooth operation of the centre.
- Contribute to and understand the business and budgetary performance of the centre, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
- Be a proactive member of the leisure centre team, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve our goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement new ideas and initiatives to improve customer experience and centre performance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures, including health and safety, customer service, and data protection.
- Proven experience of managing a team and delivering excellent customer service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing circumstances, with a high level of autonomy and decision-making confidence.
- Passion for the leisure industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality services and experiences.
- NPLQ qualification (training can be provided) and first aid at work.
