Oaklands College is seeking a dedicated Security & Services Manager to oversee the strategic and operational management of all physical and infrastructure security across our campuses. This role involves managing the security team, control room, access control systems, ID badges, and vehicle parking to ensure the safety and security of our facilities and community. The ideal candidate will provide expert advice, maintain compliance with relevant legislation and standards, and foster a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement security strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead and manage the security team to provide a high level of service to students, staff, and visitors.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to security and risk management.
- Monitor and report on security incidents and trends to inform strategic decision-making.
