We are a dynamic and forward-thinking business with a strong track record of sustainable growth, seeking an exceptional individual to join our market-leading Rating team in London. As a Partner, you will play a key role in providing expert rating advice to a diverse range of clients, including landlords, occupiers, investors, and developers.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop and expand our London team, working closely with clients to provide bespoke appeal and mitigation advice across a broad spectrum of properties. You will be responsible for managing and growing your own client base, developing excellent business relationships with new and existing clients, and integrating fully into our wider business network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert rating advice to clients, including appeal and mitigation services, across a wide range of properties.
  • Manage and grow your own client base, developing strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with our wider business network to promote the team and leverage opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest rating legislation and case law, ensuring our clients receive the best possible advice.

Requirements:

  • MRICS qualified with significant experience in rating and property valuation.
  • Proven track record of providing expert rating advice and negotiating appeals.
  • Detailed knowledge of rating legislation and case law.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Commercially astute with an entrepreneurial attitude to business development.
  • Ability to work autonomously and coordinate tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Accurate and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Pro-active and enjoys working autonomously and as part of a wider team.
  • Confident and assertive where required.
  • Flexible approach to work.
  • Team player who works effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Good IT skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and MS Outlook, with familiarity with rating software.
