Procurement Manager

Barclay Meade is seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to lead our procurement activities and drive value for money. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee procurement activities to ensure value for money and compliance
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost savings
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to agreed terms
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with business objectives
  • Manage the procurement budget and track expenses
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and transactions
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in procurement management
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Excellent understanding of procurement processes and best practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Eligibility for SC clearance and at least a British passport; dual nationals can be considered
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
