Sales Progressor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Progressor to join our team at Vistry Group PLC. As a Sales Progressor, you will play a crucial role in progressing reservations to exchange and legal completion within the company agreed timescales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Progress reservations to exchange and legal completion within agreed timescales
  • Support the customer journey and effect timely exchanges through regular communications with solicitors, mortgage brokers, and estate agents
  • Keep the business informed on all sales progress for accurate financial and legal completions forecasting
  • Produce weekly sales progression trackers for the sales team
  • Liaise with mortgage lenders, solicitors, and estate agents to deal with any issues that arise
  • Attend weekly sales/build meetings and forecast expected exchanges, providing reasons for delays on overdue contracts
  • Report on KPIs including outstanding contracts, time taken to achieve exchange, and upcoming legal completions
  • Generate general letters/memos, e.g., pre-contract meeting letters, 35-day intention to complete letters, welcome letters
  • Complete extensive lists of weekly and monthly reports, e.g., reservations, outstanding missives, legal completion statistics, data schedules, revenues, availability, releases, costs, deposits, etc.
Requirements:
  • 5 GCSEs/GCEs including Maths and English, or equivalent
  • A Levels in any discipline
  • Legal and/or Estate Agency, New Homes background
  • Strong IT skills
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Able to work under pressure, prioritize, and meet set deadlines
  • A good understanding of building regulations and legal obligations
  • Proficient with MS Office programs, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel, and Sales software e.g., COINs/Keys
  • Excellent telephone manner and email etiquette
  • Ability to deal with customers and stakeholders in a friendly and professional manner
  • Able to effectively handle difficult situations
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Willing to be flexible in respect of day-to-day duties and hours worked
  • Full driving license
Desirable:
  • Relevant experience working for a residential housebuilder
  • Legal Conveyancing knowledge
