Position Overview

Class People is in search of a committed and empathetic Special Needs Support Assistant to become a vital part of our educational team.

Role Responsibilities

This fulfilling position entails providing individualized support to a student facing communication challenges and exhibiting Global Development Delay, potentially linked to Autism.

Key Duties
  • Assist the student in achieving the objectives outlined in their Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
  • Encourage a nurturing and inclusive educational atmosphere that promotes the student’s overall well-being and academic progress.
  • Work collaboratively with the school’s educators and support personnel to ensure a unified and comprehensive approach to the student’s learning experience.
Qualifications and Skills

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities to effectively engage with school staff and other professionals.
  • Desirable, but not mandatory, proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese.
  • A minimum qualification of Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools; experience or training in special education, autism support, or related areas is preferred.
