Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our team at DataCareers. As a Contract Data Compliance Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management and protection of sensitive data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Governance: Advise on data management practices, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance: Review and audit data policies, procedures, and systems to ensure adherence to data protection regulations.
  • Sharepoint Administration: Manage and maintain Sharepoint files, ensuring secure access and storage of sensitive data.
  • Communication and Influencing: Collaborate with stakeholders to promote data governance best practices and influence data management decisions.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2-3+ years in a Data Governance Advisor role, preferably in a highly regulated sector.
  • Skills: Strong communication and influencing skills, Sharepoint administration, basic SQL knowledge, and Azure AD awareness.
  • Location: Local to Sussex, with willingness to travel to Brighton as required.
