Job Description

Job Title: Executive Sous Chef

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Sous Chef to join our culinary team at WSH Group. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring high-quality standards are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards set by the head chef, ensuring food safety standards are adhered to at all times.
  • Station Management: Oversee the production of all dishes assigned to your station and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high-quality standards for all dishes, ensuring presentation and taste are considered at all times.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate positively and effectively with all team members and assist/support colleagues as needed.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the head chef to develop and taste new recipes, providing suggestions for improvement or innovation.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: Proven experience working as a Senior Chef De Partie or above.
  • Culinary Knowledge: Knowledge of various scratch cooking techniques and cuisines.
  • Food Safety: Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
