Management Accountant

Page Personnel Sales is proud to partner with one of the UK's most recognisable leisure brands, offering a unique opportunity for a talented Management Accountant to join their team.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for reconciling sales to cash receipts for monthly membership fees, preparing key cost lines within the monthly management accounts, and engaging with budget holders to complete detailed variance analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile sales to cash receipts for monthly membership fees
- Prepare key cost lines within the monthly management accounts
- Engage with budget holders to complete detailed variance analysis
- Prepare and submit the quarterly VAT return to the Group with supporting control account reconciliations
- Continually review and improve all Finance related processes
- Maintain controls in line with the Group's Financial controls programme
- Support the Assistant Accountant and assist with audit queries
Requirements:
- Proven track record in a similar role
- Part qualified or qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Excel
- Ability to work with financial and non-financial stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
