We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our finance team at Michael Page Finance. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in financial decision-making processes, adding significant value to our Accounting & Finance Department.

About the Role

The Financial Controller will be responsible for handling financial tasks including budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting. They will oversee financial systems and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency, and support the Accounting & Finance Department with financial analysis and insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial plans and strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Manage and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with department heads to optimize financial performance and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the department and manage and mentor junior team members where required.

Requirements

  • Professional accounting qualification CIMA, ACA or ACCA.
  • Natural commercial acumen and ability to liaise with senior leaders.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Industrial/Manufacturing sector.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
