Key Responsibilities:
- Engage effectively with patients, their families, and the multidisciplinary team to optimize post-surgical outcomes. Utilize communication skills to facilitate informed consent and address any barriers to effective communication.
- Maintain thorough and up-to-date professional documentation in accordance with legal and departmental standards.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, including those with complex conditions, employing investigative and analytical skills.
- Develop individualized management and treatment plans based on clinical reasoning and a variety of treatment techniques. Regularly evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Stay informed about National Clinical Guidelines and Frameworks, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices.
Candidate Profile:
- Possession of a degree in Physiotherapy (BSc Hons) or equivalent qualification.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience, including exposure to respiratory and orthopaedic care.
- Previous involvement in an adult respiratory on-call rota is advantageous.
