About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Officer to join our team at Riverside. As a Support Officer, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to our customers, enabling them to make informed decisions about their lives and increase their sense of wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments to identify and prioritize customer needs
  • Develop and implement holistic support plans using SMART goal planning
  • Create a supportive environment that promotes opportunities for customers to develop, learn, and achieve independence
  • Provide comprehensive support planning services to customers, ensuring they are fully informed of their rights and responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date records are kept of support provided to customers
Requirements
  • Experience of working with vulnerable people in a support capacity
  • Passion for working with people and a commitment to achieving positive outcomes
  • Excellent communication and team working skills
  • Knowledge of the housing sector, including housing benefit applications
  • Strong IT and social media skills
