Job Description

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced educator to join our team as a Content Creation Lecturer. As a key member of our academic staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, focusing on content creation and related practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective learning materials, including lesson plans and course materials.
  • Facilitate learning through a variety of methods, including lectures, workshops, and tutorials.
  • Assess student progress and provide timely and constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the development of our curriculum and academic programs.
  • Participate in campus events and activities that promote our institution and its programs.

Essential Criteria:

  • Relevant honors degree or significant industry experience, with either a Postgraduate Certificate in Education or Higher Education Academy Membership.
  • Ability to create and build on industry links and partnerships.
  • Experience in content creation and related practices, including podcasting, marketing, graphic design, and video production.
  • Concept development, project management, and production skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage competing demands.
  • Right to live and work in the UK.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Higher education teaching experience, including the creation of session plans and preparation of materials.
  • Experience in project-based learning, using technology in learning, including virtual learning environments and other similar tools.
  • Specialisms in areas such as photography, video production, web design, and graphic design.
