Job Title: Driver Trainer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Driver Trainer to join our team at Culina Group. As a Driver Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality driver training, evaluating the impact of training on our drivers, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver in-house driver training programs, including periodic Driver CPC training.
  • Provide training on drivers' hours, tachographs, and WTD rules and regulations to new starters and existing drivers.
  • Conduct new starter training and inductions.
  • Monitor and evaluate training provided, assessing Culina's needs and ensuring all needs are met.
  • Report on the ability and performance of drivers following training courses, using counseling and coaching techniques as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of driver training undertaken.
  • Liaise with the Transport Management team to maximize benefits from training provided.
  • Monitor the standard of Culina drivers' driving and provide information, advice, and guidance to relevant departments.
  • Complete risk assessments and safe working practices for Culina sites, customer sites, and delivery points.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers' hours.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Essential skills in LGV C&E Driving Licence.
  • Excellent communication skills to deliver accurate information to trainees.
  • Able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
  • Good standard of computer literacy, particularly MS Office applications.
  • Able to work as part of a team or individually.
  • Qualified to Advanced driving level desirable.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
