Job Title: Driver Trainer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Driver Trainer to join our team at Culina Group. As a Driver Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to our drivers, ensuring they meet the necessary standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver training programs for drivers, including periodic CPC training and training on drivers' hours, tachographs, and WTD rules and regulations.
  • Provide new starter training and inductions, ensuring all drivers are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.
  • Monitor and evaluate training provided, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring all needs are met.
  • Report on driver performance and provide feedback, using counseling and coaching techniques as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of all driver training undertaken.
  • Liaise with the Transport Management team to maximize benefits from training provided.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers' hours.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Essential skills in LGV C&E Driving Licence.
  • Excellent communication skills to deliver accurate information to trainees.
  • Able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
  • Good standard of computer literacy, particularly MS Office applications.
  • Able to work as part of a team or individually.
  • Qualified to Advanced driving level desirable.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
