Job Title: Conveyancing Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Conveyancing Assistant to join our team at Davies and Partners Solicitors. As a key member of our conveyancing department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of residential property transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with issuing quotes, opening new files, and onboarding clients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, developers, and brokers through telephone and email communication.
  • Exhibit flexibility, particularly during peak periods, to meet the demands of our fast-paced environment.
  • Update developer spreadsheets and work lists on OneDrive to ensure accurate tracking of client information.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
Requirements:
  • GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English.
  • A Law Degree is not required, but awareness of compliance and processes within residential conveyancing is beneficial.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain client confidentiality.
  • Competence in the effective use of Information and Communications Technologies (ICT).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
