Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and skilled Service Coordinator to join our team at Kings Security. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing the daily activities of our service engineers, ensuring efficient planning and execution of corrective, preventative, and project work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage service engineer daily diaries to ensure efficient planning and execution of work
  • Monitor and report on engineer PDA utilization to optimize performance
  • Track and manage awaiting parts, parts in, and further action queues to minimize delays
  • Request parts as required and arrange reattendance of further action calls to maintain customer satisfaction
  • Liaise with engineers to ensure deadlines are met and customer expectations are exceeded
  • Chase part codes with REM or supervisors to resolve issues promptly
  • Order plant hire where applicable to support service delivery
  • Take calls and book maintenance and corrective calls, as well as other business inquiries to provide excellent customer service
  • Liaise with the Project Department on project scheduling to ensure seamless coordination
  • Advise customers of ETA's where required to maintain transparency and communication
  • Meet KPI's, SLA's, and daily targets to ensure high performance and efficiency
  • Ensure all work is produced in a timely manner, well-presented, and error-free to maintain high standards
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of effective administrative procedures and systems to support the service department
  • Ensure line manager and REM are informed of developments, problems, and other issues affecting the service department
  • Cover scheduling administration duties as required to support the team
Requirements
  • Excellent administration skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other IT packages
  • Excellent coordination skills and high level of organization to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Proven track record of good organizational skills, including time management and prioritization
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of performance in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide cover and support when necessary
  • Clear geographical skills to support service delivery
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to work
