We seek a skilled Product Manager who can navigate the complexities of the ecosystem, engage with multiple stakeholders, and demonstrate a strong interest in traveler-centric solutions and platform capabilities, while being enthusiastic about Amadeus's strategy to open up our systems.
Purpose
In this role, you will oversee one of the core capabilities of the Creation Platform that is vital to Amadeus's business transformation: the marketplace, which promotes ecosystem growth by connecting suppliers with consumers.
As a Marketplace Platform Product Lead, you will be tasked with directing the strategy, roadmap, and execution of the Platform Capability to deliver an exceptional user experience.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to ensure that the marketplace aligns with user and consumer needs as well as business objectives. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of marketplace dynamics and user behavior, along with a strong passion for translating ideas into actionable outcomes.
Main Responsibilities
Define and articulate the capability vision, strategy, and roadmap. Engage with Amadeus Business lines to communicate developments, identify opportunities, and gather feedback from consumers. Propose strategic directions to management and ensure alignment on value, budget, and prioritization. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices. Collaborate with stakeholders (Epic Owners, Product Owners, Architects, and Engineering) to gather, refine, and prioritize product requirements, feeding the execution backlog and roadmap. Work closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences. Lead the capability development lifecycle from concept to launch and through to the capability's end of life. Monitor capability performance and measure success using metrics to drive continuous improvement and maximize capability usage. Ensure the capability's market readiness, including legal compliance, SLAs, and cost models. Facilitate efficient deliveries by fostering strong, trustworthy relationships with train leaders, product owners, and architects, maintaining a well-groomed backlog, and ensuring appropriate levels of formalization.About Our Ideal Candidate
5-10 years of Product Management experience is essential, with significant experience in marketplace management. Comfortable with uncertainty and able to adapt to evolving contexts and strategies. Collaborative mindset with strong communication and analytical skills. Results-oriented, energetic, and driven. Platform mindset: capable of transitioning from standard product management to managing platform capabilities that support consumers in building or enhancing products. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. Quick to establish strong relationships and credibility. Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
