The Role: Aircraft Duty Engineer (Licensed)

As an Aircraft Duty Engineer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our aircraft are maintained to the highest standards. You'll work within a team environment, coordinating and overseeing production at a shift level.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Resource Management:
    • Ensure smooth aircraft production operations, aligning with maintenance plans and compliance requirements.
    • Lead and motivate maintenance colleagues, setting clear expectations for daily performance.
    • Allocate tasks effectively based on the maintenance plan.
    • Champion quality standards, identify trends, and implement solutions to enhance continuous improvement.
    • Facilitate communication regarding aircraft status between Planning and Production departments.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for Engineers, flight crew, and Planning personnel.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Provide technical support as the first point of contact for operational colleagues.
    • Offer technical feedback to stakeholders, including Technical specialists and Planning.
    • Assist engineers with complex technical issues, requiring an understanding of technical documentation and new technologies.
    • Actively engage with engineers in rectifying defects on the front line.
