Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team at The Housing Network as a Housing Benefit Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding the process of claiming exempt housing benefits for our residents on our Active Opportunity Pathways.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and track exempt housing benefit claims for residents
  • Solve blockers to ensure timely payments
  • Collaborate with Support Workers to facilitate the claims process
  • Develop and maintain a system to track individual claims and process payments with our Finance team
  • Assist in building a reporting suite to provide clarity on claim progress

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in housing benefit processing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
