Position Overview
The Digital Services Support Analyst will deliver a proactive digital assistance service to both new and existing users of healthcare systems within NHS Lanarkshire. This role encompasses collaboration with supported third-party contractors that provide healthcare services within the NHS Lanarkshire framework, including various medical practices and institutions.
The individual in this position will play a crucial role in enhancing the utilization of existing and new systems across a diverse range of services supported by Digital Services. Their focus will be on maximizing both clinical and administrative efficiencies through effective use of digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the identification and development of ongoing training needs for each supported service, translating these into structured training plans.
- Collaborate with IT trainers to facilitate training sessions as required, ensuring service users are well-equipped to utilize digital systems effectively.
- Provide ad-hoc guidance on the use of supported digital systems and services, ensuring a high level of support and advice is available.
- Report any issues encountered with digital systems to the appropriate management and technical teams, including application management staff and system suppliers.

- Relevant expertise or training qualifications in at least one specialized system, ideally within a clinical context.

- A strong customer service orientation, with the ability to influence and drive change across various levels.
