Cygnet Health Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Cygnet Wallace Hospital in Dundee. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to individuals with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and provide evidence-based therapy to individuals and groups
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that promote positive outcomes and recovery
  • Provide training and supervision to colleagues and consultation to teams
  • Evaluate the service and contribute to its development, including clinical research and dissemination of outcomes

Requirements

  • HCPC registration as a Clinical/Forensic/Counselling Psychologist
  • Experience working in a clinical forensic or mental health setting
  • Experience working with individuals with complex mental health needs, including those with a history of self-harm, physical and verbal aggression, and drug and alcohol problems
  • Training in complex therapies such as Schema-focused, Cognitive Analytical, and DBT
