About the Role
Cygnet Health Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team at Cygnet Wallace Hospital in Dundee. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to individuals with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and provide evidence-based therapy to individuals and groups
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that promote positive outcomes and recovery
- Provide training and supervision to colleagues and consultation to teams
- Evaluate the service and contribute to its development, including clinical research and dissemination of outcomes
Requirements
- HCPC registration as a Clinical/Forensic/Counselling Psychologist
- Experience working in a clinical forensic or mental health setting
- Experience working with individuals with complex mental health needs, including those with a history of self-harm, physical and verbal aggression, and drug and alcohol problems
- Training in complex therapies such as Schema-focused, Cognitive Analytical, and DBT
