  • Assist the Store Manager in crafting strategies to draw in customers
  • Oversee daily customer service operations, including sales procedures and inventory oversight
  • Monitor progress towards established objectives on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Manage and adjust store inventory levels as needed
  • Evaluate employee performance and identify areas for training
  • Lead and inspire staff to achieve peak performance
  • Provide support and mentorship to Sales Associates
  • Keep track of retail expenses, budgets, and resources
  • Suggest sales training programs and techniques
  • Engage with customers to comprehend their needs
  • Analyze consumer trends and adapt product offerings accordingly
  • Address customer complaints professionally
  • Stay updated on new products to improve store offerings
  • Generate and analyze retail data for informed decision-making
  • Conduct regular store audits for functionality and presentation
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and standards
  • Represent the store effectively and lead by example

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in a Retail Assistant Manager capacity or a similar role
  • Expertise in recruitment and performance assessment processes
  • Knowledge of financial principles and customer service best practices
  • Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and reporting
  • Advanced skills in MS Office applications, especially MS Excel
  • Proven leadership and organizational capabilities
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Problem-solving attitude and flexibility to work in shifts
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field; additional qualifications are advantageous
