Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Immunology Specialist Nurse to join our team at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Immunology service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to patients with immunodeficiency.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of immunology and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for supporting patients with immunodeficiency, providing education and support to patients and their families, and working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with immunodeficiency
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the needs of patients
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and develop strategies for improvement
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Registered nurse qualification
  • Post-registration qualification in immunology or a related field
  • Experience of working with patients with immunodeficiency
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
