Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Practitioner Psychologist to join our Cardiac Rehabilitation Service. The successful candidate will work as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team, providing psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention services to individuals living with cardiac issues.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect psychological services to patients, including face-to-face and remote consultations, and group work.
  • Offer a psychological perspective to the Multi-Disciplinary Team, providing consultation and training to increase psychological awareness and understanding.
  • Collate data on activity, PROMS, and PREMS, and conduct service evaluation projects to inform service development.

Person Specification
  • Essential:
    • Doctoral Training in DCOP/DClin Psy or Masters in Health/Forensic Psych
    • Psychology-related Degree 2:1 + (with GBR)
    • HCPC registration /or due to register if trainee
  • Desirable:
    • Masters in Psychology-related subject/Additional relevant training
