About Lotty's Flowers

We are a busy flower shop in the heart of our community, seeking a highly skilled and experienced Florist Shop Manager to lead our team and drive our business forward.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Floral Arrangements: Create stunning floral arrangements for various occasions, including funerals, weddings, and everyday flowers.
  2. Wedding and Events Management: Coordinate and execute wedding and event flower arrangements, ensuring exceptional quality and attention to detail.
  3. Staff Training and Development: Train and mentor junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge in floristry.
  4. Floral Workshops: Conduct engaging floral workshops to educate customers and staff on various floristry techniques.
  5. Operations Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the shop, including managing the shop diary, scheduling, and staff rotas.
  6. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of florists, delivery drivers, and freelancers to ensure seamless service delivery.
  7. Quality Control: Ensure that flowers are maintained to exceptional standards, conditioning protocols are adhered to, and the flower stand is refreshed and maintained regularly.
  8. Supply Chain Management: Order flowers from wholesalers, ensuring timely delivery and optimal stock levels.
  9. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, processing orders, and handling payments in a professional and courteous manner.
  10. Event Stock Management: Maintain and organize event stock, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for upcoming events.
  11. Initiative and Problem-Solving: Demonstrate resourcefulness and initiative in resolving issues and improving processes.
  12. Communication and Teamwork: Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting open communication and empathy among team members.

Essential Requirements

  1. Floristry Experience: Proven experience working as a florist, with the ability to create and guide other florists on arrangements.
  2. Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to Have

  • Social Media Experience: Familiarity with social media platforms and their role in promoting the business.
  • Management Experience: Previous experience in a management role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Knowledge of Plants and Gardening: A passion for plants and gardening, with knowledge of various plant species and their care.

Package
