Job Overview

The Division of Surgery – BHRUT NHS is seeking an experienced and skilled Children's Community Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our community nursing team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to children and their families in the community.

Main Responsibilities

  • Act as a role model and provide leadership in the clinical area, overseeing the assessment of care needs of patients, planning programs of care, and implementing and evaluating these programs without direct supervision.
  • Responsible for education and supervision of staff, as coordinated with the Children's PDN.
  • Provide advanced clinical specialist skills to deliver the highest standard of individualized, evidence-based patient-centered care, while supervising the work of others.
  • Take charge on each shift and supervise and coordinate other staff as appropriate, developing self and others professionally.
