About the Role
The Belfry Hotel & Resort is seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will provide first- and second-level technical support to our staff, ensuring seamless operation of our computer systems and networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical support to staff, resolving hardware and software issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Build, deploy, and maintain PCs, hardware, and software, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Set up and manage mobile devices, tablets, and other mobile technologies.
- Liaise with third-party IT service providers to ensure smooth business operations.
- Maintain on-premise and cloud-based Active Directory, ensuring secure access to company resources.
- Manage user accounts, including new user creation, processing leavers, and movers.
- Maintain an updated asset inventory, including PCs, phones, PDQs, and printers.
- Continuously improve IT documentation and policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Assist operations with daily IT issues as needed.
- Support and implement new IT projects, driving innovation and efficiency.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in first- and second-line IT support.
- Good knowledge of Windows PCs, PC builds, mobile phones, and MS Office suite.
- Good knowledge of Active Directory, MFA, Azure AD/365, and Intune.
- Basic network awareness and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and monitoring tools.
- ITIL certification (advantageous).
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
- Keen to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
