Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Satellite AI Engineer to join our team at Unlock Design. As a Satellite AI Engineer, you will be involved in the entire process from listening to client needs to selecting the data and methods to be used and then implementing them.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Catch up with cutting-edge technology and develop applications that lead to new business by handling images and data obtained from satellites.
  • Proactively research technological trends and customer needs required for new business and create development policies.
  • Investigate specific methods and implement solutions to problems.
  • Work as a team with business members to promote the project as a whole.
Requirements:
  • AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud computing platforms and development tools such as GitHub.
  • Basic knowledge and profound interest in satellite imagery and data applications.
  • Basic knowledge of statistical platforms and machine learning methods aside from deep learning.
  • Ability to easily explain difficult machine learning methods to clients and corporate members.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Practical work experience in development using remote sensing and satellite imagery and data.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Ability to implement machine learning methods from scratch without using publicly available programs using libraries or OSS.
  • Ability to conduct research on existing research using English.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:

  • Annual Salary: 5M 8M JPY (based on experience and skills)
  • Annual salary system (1/12 of the annual salary is paid monthly)
