Are you a Psychology graduate looking to start your career in teaching? Do you have a passion for working with children and young people with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs?

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a School Mental Health Assistant at a SEN school in Luton. As a key member of our team, you will provide first-class support to children with a range of needs, including ADHD, communication difficulties, and Down syndrome.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional and mental health support to children with complex needs
  • Work closely with the Clinical team to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery to ensure a tailored learning experience
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting children's needs

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Psychology or related field (preferable)
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN (ideal)
  • Knowledge of mental health and autism
  • Local commute to Luton
