Renewable Energy Plant Supervisor

The Green Recruitment Company is excited to collaborate with a prominent Cleantech consultancy that is at the forefront of promoting the global energy transition. Our client is renowned for their ability to merge technical expertise with the strengths of their clients and partners, tackling some of the most urgent challenges facing our environment.
As the global energy framework continues to transform, our client is dedicated to spearheading this evolution, particularly in the Bioenergy sector. They are currently in search of a highly proficient and driven Plant Manager to manage and enhance operations at their bioenergy production facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee the daily functions of the bioenergy facility, ensuring all operations are conducted efficiently and effectively.
- Monitor the plant's performance, including production, maintenance, and safety protocols, to achieve or surpass operational objectives.
- Establish and track operational KPIs to guarantee that the site meets or exceeds its financial targets.
- Create and uphold all operational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Risk Assessments (RAs), ensuring that all team members are thoroughly trained and compliant.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- A minimum of an HNC in Engineering or a related field; a degree or HND is highly preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in a production or plant management capacity, ideally within the bioenergy or a related industry.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to drive operational excellence.
- Willingness to engage in an on-call rotation and respond to emergencies as necessary.
